1 Day Tour to: Goegap Nature Reserve
Goegap Nature Reserve is situated 15km south-east of Springbok in Namakwaland and covers approximately 15000ha. The name "Goegap" is derived from the Nama word for Waterhole. The reserve encompasses the typical granite koppies and sandy plains of Namakwaland. The reserve supports close to 600 indigenous flower species and is the home to 45 mammal species, including springbok, gemsbok and the Hartman's mountain zebra, 94 bird species as well as several species of reptile and amphibian. The vegetation includes a large component of ephemeral plants (plants with a short life span).
Departure:
The tour starts in Springbok at (strictly) 09:00. Departure from Naries should therefore be no later than 08:25.
What do we do?:
We depart from Springbok and will have time to explore the Succulent Garden before we go on the four-wheel drive route to explore the reserve and look for game. Lunch will be served under a secluded wild fig tree. We have permission to travel on all roads in search of certain animals. The duration of this one day tour is flexible. We can be back in Springbok anytime between 14:00 and 16:00.

From R520.00 pp [Includes lunch and entrance fees]. Discount of R80 is applicable if you make use of your own vehicle to go into town (where the tour officially starts).
